It’s day eight! As we head into the home stretch of our holiday giveaways we’re going to focus on inspiring you to kick off your ServiceNow transformation strong in the new year. Starting today, with our much anticipated 2019 ServiceNow Service Portal Lookbook.
A year ago we created our first Portal Lookbook, where we featured some of our favorite client Portals and gave you a peek inside their business requirements, page designs, workflow architecture, and more. We’ve done a lot of client work since then, so it was about time for us to create a second edition of the book.
Our 2019 Portal Lookbook features;
- A world-renowned university
- A fortune 1000 gift card company
- An international life science organization
- A popular international winery
- An American leader of organic products
Your Service Portal is perhaps the most important element of your Platform. It’s how your team will access your workflows, and how you deliver your apps via a modern, easy to use portal that can be accessed from any device, any time. Plus, your employees and customers can easily access any knowledge base with one intuitive search and call to actions.
But – your Portal is only as valuable as the number of employees or customers that use it. So, as more and more companies strive to create centralized hubs for their users, what successes do they see and what challenges are they having to overcome?
To gain adoption, your Portal needs to be modern and compelling in design, reflecting your company’s branding while using images that resonate with your associates. But above all, it needs to be technically sound and connect the right people with the right resources, with rigorous user testing to overcome any failures in the functionality. Seeing is believing, so to get your ServiceNow imagination flowing, here are a few of our favorite Service Portal examples from the past year. Each one comes straight from an Acorio client and shows you what’s possible in the world of Service Portal functionality and design.
This is a book that you have to see to believe. To jump in and see the Portals, download the eBook here, or get a peek into one client story below.
Popular International Winery Launches ServiceNow Service Portal to Consolidate Their Existing IT Environment.
Accounting for over 25 percent of all domestic wine sales, this California company is the second-largest wine producer and largest family-owned winery in the world. The company employs over 6,500 people globally and has a product line consisting of over 100 product brands, which sell in 110 countries.
Because of their global reach, expansive production, and large employee base, this company focuses on their IT department’s organization and efficiency
A ServiceNow client since 2014, the organization has an extensive history with the platform, working with a number of partners for service desk and infrastructure support. Yet their end-user community, comprised of both tech-savvy millennials and phone-preferred tenured employees, struggled with the user experience of their IT SharePoint Portal and ServiceNow interface. To solve their overall user experience challenge and keep a consolidated IT environment, the company chose to work with Acorio to implement ServiceNow’s Service Portal.
