There’s nothing that beats the smell of s’mores roasting on a campfire, except maybe the feeling of accomplishment after helping a client over the finish line of a new ServiceNow project. On that note, we’re thrilled to share this roundup of 7 project go-lives from June ranging in industry and ServiceNow solutions. Keep reading to get all the details on these exciting rollouts!
1. Legal Service Application Implementation for Regional Health Care Organization
This not-for-profit healthcare organization operates a medical group, hospital system, and other regional health care facilities. As an existing ServiceNow customer, this client partnered with Acorio to lead them in a pilot implementation of Legal Service Application, one of ServiceNow’s newest application offerings.
Having delivered an initial release with the implementation of Legal Requests, this healthcare org asked Acorio to then assist them in building additional requests and reports. We followed up with the second project phase in January of this year to enable the firm’s legal team to completely serve their organization with an expanded set of legal matters.
This new implementation has enabled the organization to: manage the intake and processing of subpoena matters to ensure efficiency and effectiveness, provide metrics on SLA performance, and give the leadership team more insights to better support their business.
As a new ServiceNow offering, this project was Acorio’s first time implementing the Legal Service Application. We’re happy to report that this pilot project was a great success, delivering the functionality and insights sought by the customer.
2. ITSM Center of Excellence Support for American Health Insurance Company
This implementation marks Acorio’s 20th project since 2018 for this national health insurance company. As part of a larger workstream, this client was looking for support with their ITSM Center of Excellence. The project was broken down into three objectives, including: Demand Management, Release Management and Automated Test Framework.
Overall, the client was looking for guidance on:
- platform demand intake and a recommended governance model for managing platform enhancements and new features
- a future release strategy that takes into account their applications and processes
- understanding and configuring defined ATF use cases to create a clear ATF strategy for their ITSM and ITBM team
Acorio was successful on delivering what was scoped, and the client was extremely happy with the time, support, and deliverables provided by the project team.
3. ITBM & NowMobile for Multinational Food Company
This multinational food company was looking to enable their IT team to efficiently manage work for its strategic planning, implementations, and operations. Their main objective for this project was to institute a “single source of the truth” to effectively manage IT demand, projects and resource supply/utilization. With these goals in mind, Acorio implemented ServiceNow’s ITBM solution and deployed ITSM NowMobile to increase efficiency and streamline the team’s operations.
We’re happy to report the team is happy with the final results, and the IT management team is thoroughly enjoying their new tool.
4. Quebec Upgrade for Regional Healthcare System
Acorio helped this regional healthcare organization with a highly customized Demand Management instance upgrade to Quebec, the latest platform release.
Now with this client on the latest version of the platform, they don’t have to worry about upgrades for another year. Another perk from this project? Acorio removed numerous defects from their instance and closed the project with a chunk of allotted hours left over.
5. HAM/SAM Advisory for Regional Bank
When two banks merged into one company, they had to find a way to track their combined 85B in Assets. Looking for best practice to develop an aligned and impactful platform vision, this client came to Acorio looking for help on understanding how to best maximize the value of their current ServiceNow platform, while reducing customization and increasing their audit readiness.
Our Advisory Team partnered with this client to facilitate LEARN sessions to gather data and learn about their current state, deliver a set of prioritized and quantitatively/qualitatively measured opportunities, and facilitate VISION sessions to review and align a target state of recommendations across Platform Governance, Strategy and Roadmap, among others.
By taking a deep dive into the current state of their asset management lifecycle, our team provided guidance on the best practices and potential paths to maturity. The team proposed a target state roadmap that incorporated crawl/walk/run options and gathered customer feedback to ensure alignment with the team’s strategic goals. We’re thrilled that this client is pursuing next steps on their HAM/SAM & Service Mapping initiatives.
6. Workplace Service Delivery for Medical Devices Company
This international company engages in the research, development, and sale of medical devices. With thousands of patents either approved or pending, the firm is making key moves as they continue to grow.
With this growth, the firm sought to implement ServiceNow’s Workplace Reservation Management and Space Mapping so that users in their domestic and international office could reserve workspaces and parking spaces. The solution also included integrating ServiceNow with Mappedin to ingest the maps of multiple office locations.
The client has rolled out phase 1 of the project to a pilot group in select offices, bringing them one step closer to going live with all users in additional international locations. We have now successfully transitioned this project to our AVA team, who will continue to support this client with their ServiceNow initiatives.
7. Safe Workplace Apps for Global Investment Firm
With over $90 billion in assets, this global private equity firm manages investment funds in growth capital, venture capital, public equity, and debt investments. Looking to better support their team’s safety, this client partnered with Acorio to support their Return to Work efforts.
The project took place in three phases. The first began with an Employee Readiness Survey to measure team members’ readiness to return to work, and an Employee Health Screening to verify employees’ health as they prepared to return to the office.
For Phase 2, Acorio implemented Health Safety Testing and Safe Workplace Reporting to streamline the process of employee health testing and provide platform reports for the Safe Workplace applications.
For the last phase of this project, we rolled out PPE Inventory Management and Safe Workplace Dashboard and Vaccination Status. The completion of that phase marks a successful delivery of the Safe Workplace Apps to support this client team’s safe Return to Work. Since then, Acorio’s project team has successfully transitioned work for this client to our AVA team, who will continue to support their Safe Workplace Apps and other initiatives.
