Happy Wednesday, everyone. Hopefully, you’re looking forward to leaning into this spring season. The birds are chirping, the trees are coming back to life, and we’re bringing you more exciting ServiceNow material!

Today, we’re sharing a bit more from our ServiceNow Glossary eBook released a month ago. The impetus behind creating this eBook is that ServiceNow is so big, and we can easily get lost in the extensive language. However, getting it right is important to properly understand the platform. Having this knowledge ahead of time will make people realize you know what you’re talking about, and save you from embarrassing moments in meetings or with your peers. That’s why we wrote down every ServiceNow term and definition you may need to know.

We know that fluency in ServiceNow takes time, and it’s definitely not simple! The technology is new, and it’s constantly growing and changing. That’s why you’ll find this eBook helpful whether you’re new to ServiceNow, or if you’re a pro and just need to refresh your memory!

So, let’s jump into some of the definitions you’ll get in the eBook! This time, we’re sharing a few of the E’s (which we think is an excellent election):

Employee Document Management

Employee Document Management provides storage space, a filing system, the ability to easily retrieve documents, defines who can view sensitive documents, and when to purge documents.

Employee Service Center

The Employee Service Center application is a single place for employees to quickly and easily get all the HR services they need in the scoped version of HR.

Enterprise Onboarding

The Enterprise Onboarding and Transitions application allows you to easily automate onboarding and other employee lifecycle events that span multiple departments, including offboarding, relocation, leaves of absence, and other processes that begin in HR but cross into IT, facilities, finance, and legal.

Event Management

The ServiceNow Event Management application allows the user to detect health issues across the data center, as well as reduce event noise using predictive intelligence, like machine learning, to consolidate events. This application helps increase value from existing tools, improve serviceability, and understand the root cause of an IT issue.
